Symbol Technologies, Inc. and Epic Data International Inc. today announced an agreement to jointly launch Epic Data's eXpresso application development toolkit for Symbol handheld computers at the Symbol Software Developers Conference, June 7-10.

eXpresso is a unique Java and XML-based wireless application development environment and programming interface for creating and enabling mobile enterprise applications.
