Symbol Technologies Names Industry Leader Philip Lazo Vice President and General Manager of RFID Division

Symbol Technologies, Inc. , the enterprise mobility company, today announced the appointment of Philip Lazo as vice president and general manager of the RFID division of its Global Products Group. The division is building on Symbol's existing investments in RFID technology and leading the development of world-class RFID solutions as part of Symbol's overall enterprise mobility strategy.

Lazo is a seasoned technology veteran with well over a decade of experience in the development, deployment and management of RFID and related automatic data capture technologies, most recently at Tyco/Sensormatic Corporation. Lazo graduated from the University of South Florida, Tampa, with an electrical engineering degree.
